Owners Marshall and Penny Watne started the restaurant in 2010 when they noticed an unfortunate lack of Mexican cuisine, so they set out to open Sancho's using fresh ingredients at affordable prices, or as Marshall said, "Nothing comes out of can."

Choose either, chicken, fish, marinated or regular pulled pork, and take your pick of vessel: tacos, taquitos, enchiladas, burritos, cheese quesadillas, nachos or just a hot plate of house-made tortilla chips and salsa.

The local favorite is the chile verde plate, $ 8; a massive, wet burrito stuffed with pulled pork marinated in green salsa, beans, rice, and sour cream in a flour tortilla dripping with a spicy green salsa and melted cheese.

Ambiance

Blue, orange and white Christmas lights are strung around the Mexican flags, and memorabilia that hang from the walls at Sancho's. There're a few tables on the patio, a take-out counter and a water cooler in the corner with a set of cups for diners.

Service

Relaxed and friendly, Marshall, Penny or their son will probably help you at the counter.
