La Foresta Nature Resort is a 10-minute drive from Quepos, near the town of La Immaculada, and close to a few of the area's attractions and activities such as the Villa Vanilla farm and Savegre and Naranjo river rafting.
Gravel pathways lead guests around the resort past fruit trees, flowers and colorful botanical plants to La Foresta Nature Resort's 24 rooms split between villas and bungalows. The single bungalows, $116 in the wet season (May- Nov.) with breakfast, have a bedroom, living area and kitchenette that include a minifridge, TV, A/C, and Wi-Fi (available in some rooms) furnished with a couch, chair, kitchen table and dresser.
Los Senderos restaurant and bar is open-air with terracotta-tile floors, and a bamboo, thatch roof beside the rainforest. The menu features grilled chicken, fish, steak, as well as pasta, burgers sandwiches and typical Costa Rica cuisine like the 'trail's end rice', $9, a twist on the typical arroz con pollo made with fried rice, chicken, cashew nuts, peppers and celery served with sautéed vegetables.
