Travel in an air-conditioned van south along the coast from Manuel Antonio to El Pavon, listening to the music of the 80s and 90s, with snacks and water to fuel your energy in between waterfall visits. There is not a lot of hiking to do, the van will drop you off feet away from each waterfall.

Explore three very different waterfalls to test your abilities and take a break at Ventanas Beach. Your heart will pound as you walk to the falls from the luxurious foliage and you will be able to get those ever taking selfies of your family, friends and you! Experienced guides know the risks and are familiar with the seasonal water levels to help you maximize your enjoyment.

Choose your level of excitement

Portalon Waterfall - the first jump!

Difficulty: Easy

Cross a creek and stand on the slab and leap from the side of the Portalón Waterfall, feet first into the emerald waters, feel your heart pumping more blood and hear the air bubbles bursting as you emerge to the water surface. Guides will help you make your way out to the riverbank.

20-foot Pavon Waterfall - the Naturally Sculptured Rock

Difficulty: Advance for the main falls; Many people just absorb the view of the falls and foliage.

Thrill in standing on a boulder suspended between two rock cliffs above a waterfall! Or, simply admire the natural sculpture presented by the rocks and the moss draped over the boulders. For those of you who are adrenaline junkies, you can cliff dive, for everyone else just enjoy the peaceful sounds of the waterfall or air bend to immerse your head unto a small cascade to hear the deep roar of the waterfall.

Satisfy your appetite with a farm-to-table meal that includes Tilapia fish or free-range chicken with organic vegies, Patacones (fried green plantains), boiled cassava and a salad with a splash of lime. The restaurant grows fresh organic greens and fruits at the pace of nature, harvests Tilapia fish in its own natural pools and allows their animals to roam free in the farm.

Ventanas Beach

To do: explore caves, sunbathe and enjoy the scenery

Head to the beach for 45 minutes to soak up the sun in Ventanas Beach and walk inside the caves and idyllic natural rock formations. Hop back into the van to discover the last waterfall.

25-foot Uvita Waterfall aka Cascada Verde - a Waterfall Sliding Rock

Difficulty: fearlessly easy

Adrenaline rushes as you slide from the top of the waterfall over the rock up to 25 feet into the emerald waters at the bottom. A slide worthy of a picture or video!

You will be following a well-worn path with steps in the forest that will lead you to this waterfall with the guides making sure that you follow this path.
