Grab a spot at one of the tables on the sand and have a strawberry piña colada, $6, or sangria, $7, garnished with strawberry, orange and star fruit. Resist the temptation to leave your table and dive into the ocean with an order of tuna Carpaccio, $12, seasoned with olive oil, lime and black pepper, or with one of Gusto Beach's tuna twists: wasabi tuna tartare, $12, chopped with sesame seeds and wasabi cream, and Gusto tuna tartare, $12, mixed with tomato chunks and pickled ginger, topped with avocado.

Cozy-up under a cabana and sip a famous Italian sunset cocktail, Aperol Spritz, $8, Prosecco, soda water, orange. Keep the Italian theme and bite into the crunch of focaccia Carpaccio, $7, raw prosciutto, tomato, arugula, Parmesan, balsamic vinegar and cracked black pepper.

Watch the waves mist against the sand as you pick your main dish, perhaps the wasabi cream tuna, $19, soy sauce, sesame seeds, chunked tomato, served with wasabi mashed potatoes and julienned zucchini, or a skillet of pasta Costa Esmeralda, $15, spaghetti tossed with mussels, shrimp, octopus, squid, olive oil and garlic.

Balance the warmth of the beachside air with your dessert, vanilla ice cream, $7, topped with strawberries, slivered almonds and dulce de leche; or dare to fall in love with a chocolate heart, $8, molten lava cake, two scoops of ice cream and a caramel heart.

Italian Owners Stefania Piussi and Stefano Montalti created Gusto Beach Sports Club to mirror exactly the way they like to spend their vacations — on the beach, drinks in hand, just kicking-back and listening to great music (live music Friday, Saturday, Sunday 8:30 p.m.).

Gusto Beach Sports Club staff have attractive, vibrant attitudes — probably so happy from all the sunshine exposure and appetizing food all around them.

Appetizers $7-$17; Entrees $9-$20; Pizzas $9-$16; Desserts $4-$8
