When Italian Owner Carlos Giorgetti first opened Ritmo Tropical hotel, it was just a small restaurant serving succulent Italian meals and five bungalows. Now, the hotel's grown to include a pool half-encircled by seven bungalows nuzzled into the tropical plant-covered hillside.
Rooms
Embroidered draperies, wooden thatch, tile floors, woven Guatemalan tapestries and a rustic golden/red color theme balance the rooms' Costa Rican charm with an international spice. Bungalows, $50 per night in dry season (May-Dec), have two double beds, A/C, ceiling fans, cable TV, Wi-Fi, safety deposit box, private bathroom with hot water and a private porch with wooden chairs.

There is parking in front of the hotel, but you really won't need a car for much, since you have the center of town with taxi and bus stops, banks, supermarkets, restaurants (for lunchtime when Ritmo Tropical Restaurant is closed), and the beach all in close walking distance.
