Fruit smoothies and juices, blended coffee drinks, and a full list of cocktails, beers and draft beers — Nativo Sports Bar seriously has everything under the drinking sun - which is available on the back patio, front porch and just about everywhere in between.
When people come in and ask for a healthier drink - apparently that's a thing in Santa Teresa sports bars - bartenders suggest the Green One smoothie, $4, pineapple, mint, celery, ginger, chia seeds and orange juice.
And since the drinks save calories, there's always room for a bacon avocado cheeseburger, $13, half pound of local beef, cheddar cheese, bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles on a toasted bun, served with french fries and homemade chipotle aioli dipping sauce.
Step under the 20-foot high ceiling, still sandy from the beach; they'll still serve you a drink. Down that drink, order another, and by that time — it's likely you've made three new friends and unconvinced the bartender you're normal.
