Higado en Salsa - Beef Liver in Sauce

1 lb beef liver, cut into 1-inch squares
3/4 cup onion, chopped
3/4 cup red bell pepper, cut into thin stripes
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce


Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan over high heat. Add onions, red bell pepper, and garlic. Saute for 3 minutes. Add tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and liver. Cover and cook for 5 minutes over medium high. Let stand for three minutes. Serve with rice.
