El Castillo-Arenal Butterfly Conservatory

El Castillo-Arenal Butterfly Conservatory covers four different atriums filled with 30 different species of butterflies. Each atrium leads guests through a unique section of the rainforest where guests can experience the butterflies in their natural habitats. Self-guided tours last about an hour and a half taking guests through all four atriums, a frog habitat, a plant regeneration nursery, and on the trails and pathways around the gardens.
