Locally and family owned since it opened in 1979, the current owner Johnny Bonilla loves encouraging diners to indulged in his seafood dishes made with fresh market-bought fish.

Two of the most popular choices are the garlic fish, $8.50, a grilled sailfish fillet served with sautéed vegetables and mashed potatoes, and the whole fried fish, market price ($10 at this visit), served with fried green plantains and a house salad.

For a smaller dish, order the rice with shrimp, $8.50, served with french fries and a house salad.

A full stocked bar provides many beverage options, enjoy red or white wine to compliment your meal at $5 per generously filled glass.

Wrap the meal up with the ice cream sundae, $5, chocolate and vanilla ice cream topped with whipped cream, peaches, almonds, and cherries or the fruitcake, $5, with whipped frosting and fruit syrup.
