Ecocentro Danaus

You'll spot red-eyed tree frogs and a collection of nocturnal critters on the guided night walks through Danaus Ecological Center. During the day, you're more likely to see Danaus' 30 species of butterflies, 150 species of birds and a three-toed-sloth sleeping in a tree beside the trails that weave the eco center. Several tour operators in La Fortuna provide guided tours through the reserve.
