Kaya's Place

Driving into Puerto Viejo, one can't help but notice Playa Negra and its blooms of smoked-colored sand washed over a cream canvas churned by the rolling waves of the Caribbean. Across the street, Kaya's Place absorbs the enchantment, complimenting the monochromatic sands with brilliant plumes of color painted across its walls: golden-haired mermaids, gemstone-encrusted elephants, tropical flowers and rolling waves.
