Tobacco Products

People who are at least 18 years old may bring in free of duty up to 500 grams (1.1 pounds) of tobacco products - cigars, cigarettes - for personal use.

500 grams (1.1 pounds) of cigarettes are approximately two cartons (400 cigarettes.)

Quantities above the 500 grams (1.1 pounds) limitation will be dutiable at the following custom duty rates:

• Cigarettes:     184.78%
• Cigars:     123.97%
