Hint: If you'd like to save a few pennies, contact a "consolidator", a company that buys blocks of tickets and resells them at bargain prices. You can also look for a travel agent who offers special deals to students or groups.
Flight fares vary according to season. The high season runs from December to May with the highest fares occurring near Christmas. Generally speaking, airlines typically lower their fares to and from Costa Rica during the rainy season months (May-November).
