Addendum A:Web Chat Service Agreement

Web Chat ("Web Chat") is an interactive service provided by COSTARICA.COM, is subject to the terms of COSTA RICA RULES OF CONDUCT ("Rules"), and other rules that may be published or added from time to time on this agreement. COSTARICA.COM with the assistance of its Visitors have set up the following rules to let Visitors know what it is acceptable to do in COSTA RICA 's Web Chat.

Visitor may address complaints or report someone Visitor believes is in violation of the Rules to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , please include the person's handle and cut and paste the relevant content in the e-mail.

COSTA RICA Rules of Conduct

The Web Chat is provided as a free service to any Visitor who agrees to abide by the Rules. COSTARICA.COM reserves the right to change the nature of this relationship at any time. VISITORS WHO VIOLATE THE TERMS OF THE RULES OF THE WEB CHAT MAY PERMANENTLY BE BANNED FROM USING THE WEB CHAT. ENTERING THE WEB CHAT WILL CONSTITUTE ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THESE RULES. Visitor is entirely liable for all activities conducted through any handles registered to Visitor's email address.

The following rules apply while using the Web Chat:

I. Pornographic, obscene, nude, graphically violent, and other inappropriate images are not permitted. Pornographic, profane or obscene language is not permitted in the Web Chat, forums, and Guest Books, and/or private messages.

II. Offensive and indecent handles are not allowed and will be blocked.

III. Harassment of another Visitor on the Web Chat or via email or use of obscene or abusive language is not permitted.

IV. Do not disrupt the flow of a discussion by repeatedly posting the same message or image or posting excessively large images.

V. Impersonation of others, including a COSTARICA.COM employee or representative, a COSTARICA.COM host or another COSTA RICA member is forbidden. Handles that impersonate will be blocked.

VI. COSTARICA.COM may elect at its sole discretion to monitor some, all, or no areas of Web Chat for adherence to these Rules or other Web Chat rules that may be published from time to time. Visitor acknowledges that by providing him/her with the ability to distribute his/her content, COSTARICA.COM is acting as a passive conduit for such distribution and COSTARICA.COM is not undertaking any obligation or liability relating to any content or activities in the Web Chat.

VII. It is COSTARICA.COM's policy to respect the privacy of its Visitors. COSTARICA.COM's reserves the right to edit or disclose the contents of Visitor's private communications to law enforcement authorities, if in COSTARICA.COM's good faith belief that such action is reasonably necessary to: (I) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on the Republic of Costa Rica; (ii) protect and defend the rights or property of Web Chat; or (iii) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of COSTARICA.COM's Visitors or the public.

VIII. Visitor and/or COSTARICA.COM may terminate Visitor's service at any time for any reason. Once Visitor's Account is terminated, Visitor can not engage in COSTA RICA's member activities in any manner or for any reason without the express written consent of COSTARICA.COM, and Visitor can not assist in enabling a terminated members access to COSTA RICA using or via Visitor's Account.

IX. To the full extent permissible under the applicable law, COSTARICA.COM shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Web Chat.

X. Visitor expressly agrees that use of Web Chat is at his/her own risk. COSTARICA.COM expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. COSTARICA.COM makes no warranty that Web Chat will meet Visitor's requirements, or that the Web Chat will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error free, or as to the accuracy or reliability of any information obtained through the Web Chat.

XI. Visitor understands and agrees that any content downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of the Web Chat is done at Visitor's own discretion and risk and that Visitor will be solely responsible for any damages to Visitor's computer system or loss of data that results in the download of such data content.

XII. In cases where Visitor have allowed any other individual to use his/her Account or have negligently made his/her password publicly available, Visitor recognize that he/she is fully responsible for: (i) the online conduct of such user; (ii) controlling the users access to and use of the Web Chat; and (iii) the consequences of any misuse. Visitor further recognizes that he/she, as the holder of the Account, is entirely responsible for activities conducted through such Account.

XIII. COSTARICA.COM RESERVES THE RIGHT TO TERMINATE ANY VISITOR'S ACCOUNT FOR ANY REASON OR NO REASON AT ALL.
