After a long day of adventure, dining options are excellent and varied. From steak houses and sushi to South East Asian cuisine, Jaco restaurants cater to all tastes. Taco stands, salad bars and local sodas offer inexpensive lunches, and visitors craving fresh seafood won’t be disappointed.

A few of the fast food chains have permeated the town, so pizza and burgers are never far away. Or watch the sunset from a beachfront restaurant while savoring Spanish tapas and a glass of wine.

Aberdeen Angus
One of the best places in town for a great steak. Nice selection of imported meats and seafood, in a slightly upscale setting.

Caliche’s WishboneInternational Cuisine
Popular with locals and tourists, features an eclectic menu including pizza, noodle dishes, Asian rice bowls and fresh seafood.

Eclipse
Located in Doce Lunas Hotel, serves sophisticated international cuisine in a beautiful setting.

Jaco Taco
Delicious hamburgers as well as Tex-Mex favorites. Friday is Ladies’ Night with drink specials.

Hotel Poseidon Restaurant
Casual dining with avant-garde cuisine – serves Asian-infused seafood dishes, filet migñon and a variety of homemade sauces.

Bubba’s Tacos
Inexpensive yet delicious fish and chicken tacos, served fried or grilled.

Pancho Villa
Serves thin crust pizzas, seafood and simple continental dishes 24 hours a day; a popular spot for a midnight snack.

Pacific Bistro
Features fabulous South East Asian cuisine and a menu that changes daily. Try the jumbo shrimp in Thai-chili sauce. Guests can bring their own wine/ beer into the restaurant. Open for dinner only.

Nightlife:

Jaco is legendary for its vibrant nightlife which attracts a party-loving crowd. During the high season (December through April), clubs and bars are packed from dusk till dawn. Music festivals, local jams, disco parties and dance halls are rocking on the weekends.

Happy hours are easy to find, and sports enthusiasts can watch the latest games at Jungle Sports Bar, the Sky Lounge in Hotel Poseidon, Clarita’s Sports Bar and Grill, or Hotel & Bar Oz near the beach.

Gaming fans can try their luck at Stellaris Casino at the Los Sueños Resort in Herradura, Hotel Cocal and Casino, or the Jazz Casino located in Hotel Amapola, at the southern end of Jaco beach.

Tabacon- Chic cocktail bar with live music and international food.

Beatle Bar- Plays rock music and has several big screen TVs, pool tables, darts and foosball, as well as cocktails and bar food – very popular with tourists.

Disco La Central- A disco ball and flashing lights draw huge crowds on the weekends; this is the place to dance on Saturday nights.

Monkey Bar- Another favorite late night place, known for its drink specials and dance music.
