Visitors won’t find luxury resorts or fancy condominiums in Cahuita – instead, comfortable cabins and quiet hotels line the town’s beaches and downtown streets, most offering Caribbean style and tropical flair. For the most part, Cahuita is very budget-friendly – even the priciest hotels cost less than $120 per night.

Hostels, cabins and other budget lodging: Though there are no hostels in Cahuita, the town is home to plenty of cabins and inexpensive hotels. Most budget lodging costs $15-$20 per person and can be booked upon arrival to Cahuita. Make sure to shop around – many hotels offer hot water, private bathrooms and spring mattresses for just a few dollars more than the rock-bottom budget lodging options.
