Yes, and it was FANTASTIC. I think it tastes better when you catch it yourself - so long as you don't have to clean it.

LOL! Yes, I agree that fresh fish is much healthier than corn dogs. The swim was pretty tough. There was a rip tide right at the end, and I had to swim in place for about 5 minutes before I could get past – it felt like a scary, invisible barrier holding me in place. Thankfully, I made it through - and one of the guests later told me he had been watching to make sure that I didn't drown.

hi Genna marie!
oh wow! how exciting! i like how you describe the scenery & the animals. Thank you also for the picture of that unusual blow fish! my son Patrick would love to see this place (if I can ever get him to stop eating corn dogs on a stick!) fresh fish is always a better choice.

I wonder how hard it was to swim to shore?

Sometimes fishing depends on just plain luck. The boat captains here say they have never left the sea without at least one fish, and usually an entire cooler of them. It also depends on the time of year, and which type of fish you are looking for - although, you really cannot lose out near Sierpe and Drake.
