It WAS a blast. If you love heights, you will love Ultralight flights. Prices vary depending on the plane and the pilot, and trips normally take between 30-60 minutes. You can also purchase a special trip that runs all the way from the Panamanian border to Nicaragua.

It is worth it! These small planes, even though they may look scary and precarious, are actually just as safe as (if not safer than) commercial flights. You’ll feel proud afterward - and nothing compares to these views.

Wow, this looks like an amazing trip! My family and I are heading to the Nicoya Peninsula soon, and this looks like something I'd love to do, but may not have the courage to go through with... we'll have to wait and see! Thanks for the up-to-date info on the area though, we're reading through it all in preparation for our trip.
