We had quite a few (admittedly one-sided) arguments that day, until I fell off. Then I really got mad, and decided to take control. She still fought me at every turn. Though I didn't fall off again, I can't say I was that successful -- I was secretly very happy that it had started to rain, and a van would therefore take us back to the lodge after our hike! So happy to find up-to-date info on Costa Rica! We are staying in Montezuma April 6- 15th at Cabinas Playas Las Manchas. We had reserved there, especially because of the lengthy description of their well loved horses, on their website. I then tried to reserve the horses for their popular moon light beach ride and was told that didn’t have horses anymore. So, I looked up Montezuma Horses, and a selection of horse tours through Zuma Tours came up. The man at Zuma says that the only horses available currently, are at Nature Lodge and reserved for their guests. <br />I am hoping that the ride that you write about is available. I am also, the designated “best rider” in our group, and I can relate to your experience on Bear so well! I am hoping that you can tell me how to contact Melvin, and that perhaps he can hook up our party of 4, with horses during our stay.<br />Thank you so much for any current (!) information ! Hi!
