Cacho Negro Volcano

Location: Braulio Carrillo National Park, Central Volcanic Mountain Range

Altitude: 2150 meters (7054 feet)

This is another dormant volcano with a distinguishable conical shape. Its rugged forests are cypress and pine and contain a vast array of wildlife.  Look to the northeast from the Barva Volcano or from the road that runs through the park.
