Places to Stay in Drake Bay

Most visitors to Drake stay with a hotel as part of a tour package.  Transportation and all meals are included along with a selection of tours and activities, usually on a per tour fee.

The Drake Bay hotels offer a variety of accommodations ranging from tent camps to luxurious cabins (Aguila de Osa), though luxury here really means somewhat rustic accommodations. (No AC, with screened in windows, yet fine cabins with comfortable beds and nice decorations). Aguila de Osa, Jinetes de Osa and others offer packages which include delicious meals and hospitality.

Most hotels outside of the immediate Agujitas area do not have electricity, but offer power for limited amounts of time in the evening.   The majority of these hotels are tent-style "cabinas" (screened walls on wooden platform) with beds and some furniture. They are a great way to be close to nature while still comfortable and away from the bugs.
