National Parks and Refuges:
Ostional National Wildlife Refuge
Just 45 minutes from Samara, Ostional Wildlife Refuge is one of the most important nesting sites for the Olive Ridley and leatherback turtles in Costa Rica. Also found here are crocodiles and a wide variety of seabirds and water fowl.
