Parque de La Merced (Merced Park)

Nicaraguans often come to this park, which is located at Avenida 2 and Calle 12, to remind themselves of home. The church was built in 1894 and last year underwent a 500 Million Colones ($1.1 million U.S. dollar) renovation.
